"Got these for my vintage 1999 Trek 6500 mtb and love them. There is a lot of sand where I live and these tires grab and don’t wash out in loose stuff. As for the hard pack, these tires roll fast with the center tread design. I use these for mostly gravel type roads and they rip; great tires!"
