New bike, smooth ride. Poor quality handle bar tape
"The bike itself looks pretty sharp and after thw first ride I can say that it rides great, it feels pretty stiff, really responsive and the shifting is pretty smooth. The only down side is that the handle bar tape peeled off pretty bad after the first ride. It needs to be completely replaced. It is a real shame since it demerits the product as a whole. That is not what you expect on a new brand bike."

This bike has all the
"This bike has all the bells and whistles at a great price. The groupset is smooth and I can't see myself going back to the cable shifters again. The bikes color is awesome when the sun hits it. Yes the welds aren't pretty but everything else is. I went from a Trek Domane and this thing is just as comfortable if not a little more comfortable on the longer ride. Don't hesitate, get one before they are gone."

Bang for the buck 100%
"I have been out of the road scene for 10 years and this was my first purchase to upgrade my old bike. I am very happy with this purchase. The Rival components are 100% awesome and very easy and precise to use. I have zero regrets on this purchase as the frame is beautiful. Tires are 25c and Alex rims will be upgraded in the near future. My only complaint is the Sram Force model of this bike was not available in my size for purchase."

Disappointment started with the carton.
"Disappointment started with the carton. As shown in the photo, it had been opened and clumsily resealed. Fortunately, all parts for the bike were there. Cambria assured me that all cartons leave their facility in pristine condition, so perhaps Vaast was the problem. Also, from the closeup of the rear axle (rust) and the Rival logo (dimpling), it appears that the bike must have been stored in a facility that wasn't climate controlled. There was also a white substance on the rims that looked like mold. Finally, there's a picture of the handlebar tape after my first ride, which was about 25 miles. Since then, the handlebar tape has continued to disintegrate. Cambria provided me a partial refund, but perhaps I should have returned the bike and started over."

New bike metal frame
"Great bike. Rides like a dream. Unfortunately on delivery the hanger was really bent. Contacted cambria and they had me contact Vaast. They sent me a new one. Rear break was really spongy so had to change oil and bleed. Also shifter batteries were dead, the part by your hands, so replaced. Rather easy as they were cr2032. Same handle bar tape experience as others. All in all would purchase again as great bike and price"

Excelllent bike from VAAST
"Awesome bike! The riding position balances racing and endurance perfectly. Electronic shifting is smooth and precise, and the magnesium frame is lighter and more comfortable than aluminum. Highly recommend!"

I have to say I
"I have to say I was a bit hesitant to purchase this bike but I have to say it was totally worth it. This bike is pretty light all components on it work great and the bike rides very comfortable compared to my aluminum frame trek it does soak up a bit more of the road bumps. The only downside would be the tape it didn’t last even 10 miles on about mile 2 it started to wear. Cambria customer service quickly took care of that issue."

This bike is surpassing expectations.
"This bike is surpassing expectations. It shipped super quick. It did have some minor scuffs when it arrive, but Cambria was more than able to make it up to us."

Definitely recommend
"VAAST R/1 Rival AXS. Arrived quickly. Final assembly was easy. XL is a good fit for 6' 1" and 89cm inseam measured crotch to floor. Ride is very smooth. Electronic shifting is awesome. 700 x 32 gravel tires filter fine in XL frame."
