The aero-inspired Model R/1 optimizes technology and design for maximum efficiency, where speed, aerodynamics, weight, and agility are paramount. Weighing in at just 1250g, the meticulously crafted Allite Super Magnesium™ frame achieves a performance level that non-ferrous metal frames can’t match. With its progressive geometry, the R/1 ensures a perfect fit for every rider. Utilizing VAAST’s V-Fit parameters, the head tube and seat tube angles are thoughtfully designed to place the rider in an optimal position, providing comfort and control with neutral steering geometry.
Unlike the A/1, the R/1 features reimagined tube profiles that enhance Super Magnesium capabilities, resulting in a remarkable 30% aerodynamic performance gain over conventional round tube frames. The bike accommodates ample tire clearance, fitting up to 30mm tires or allowing for fenders with standard 25/28mm tires. Coupled with carbon wheelsets and a proprietary carbon fork and seatpost, the R/1 is a complete package, ready to slice through the wind for countless miles.
