These elbow pads saved my skin the other day

"I have recently switched from riding cross country bikes to enduro and have of course been getting much faster on descents. So it seemed logical that I might go down one day so I bought some pads. These pads seemed to fit the best and are very comfortable. So comfortable that I pretty much just put them on and wear them for the whole ride. So when I did go down recently at speed these elbow pads stayed firmly in place as I slid on my forearm and elbow on a trail that is hard pack with loose DG on top. What normally would have resulted in a painful rash was nothing! I simply got up dusted off and kept on going! I am A fan of these pads now and will always be wearing them. They are hardly scuffed from the slide which is also very impressive as the fabric is tough."

TLD raid elbow guards

"Very breathable with great protection!"

So far these are great.

"I bought the elbow guards and the knee guards as I started following my kid on the more technical portions of the trails and would prefer to avoid any more direct banging of my knees on rocks and road rash. Fortunately I have not had the opportunity to see how they work in action, but they wear well and feels like I would be protected well. I have had a couple of rides now in temperatures around 100 and they breathe very well. I feel like I am wearing a light weight shirt for sun protection. As far as the fit goes, I am 6'-4" and 225 lbs. and the XL/XXL fit great."
