The trailblazing A2 is Troy Lee Designs’ MTB trail helmet that checks all the boxes. Its stylish shell not only incorporates huge intake and exhaust ventilation ports, but it also comes with the very best in impact protection. From breakaway visor screws and the innovative MIPS® system and an industry-first dual-density EPP + EPS liner that protects against both high and low-speed impacts; this is a helmet that doesn’t take your safety lightly. Add in an adjustable strap and X-Static® Pure Silver comfort liner and the comfort is every bit on par with the protection.

Bang for your buck

"I did a lot of research on helmets before spending the coin… I read many reviews and watched a lot of videos. Simply put, the A2 is absolutely max bang for the buck. I’m not a foremost authority but it checks all the boxes on what I wanted. I needed plenty of ventilation… the heat and humidity where I live is nothing short of offensive and disrespectful. I didn’t want black because, regardless of how good it looks, black attracts and absorbs heat. The Sliver White/Marine version of this helmet looks great… it’s a matte finish, not glossy and plain looking. It’s a really good looking lid. The A2 fits me perfectly. I have a round type of dome, almost but not quite medium size so I got the small and it’s just right. The A2 has MIPS, a replaceable liner and the padding makes this helmet super comfortable to wear. I also like the fact that it covers the lower base of your head. Nobody wants to crash or hit the base of their skull but the A2 covers this area. This is a huge plus in so much as safety is concerned. I wear glasses and the straps don’t seem to get in the way of that… I think this is subjective because everyone is different when it comes to this issue. Got it on sale and that’s also great…. especially when one considers how much you’re actually getting for a helmet that’s already considerably less expensive than much of the other big brands. Troy Lee Designs makes quality and I can tell the company puts a lot of sensible thought into their products."
