After years of research and development, the Troy Lee Designs Team introduced the A1 mountain bike helmet in 2013. Here at TLD, styling, graphics, fit, function and safety are key in everything we create.

This lightweight, fully encapsulated all-mountain helmet utilizes maximum coverage and dimension to keep you safe and protected in all riding conditions. Whether you're charging single track, riding dirt jumps or grinding out miles on the XC bike, the A1 helmet offers the premium fit, protection and style you want.

  • Reinforced polycarbonate shell in-molded with the EPS liner extends down the sides and back of the head for maximum protection and durability
  • 8 pressurized intake passages draw in cool air for maximum ventilation
  • 8 rear vacuum vortex outlets help exhaust and draw heat from the head
  • Triple position adjustable retention system allows customized fit for various eyewear, head shape and riding styles
  • Single piece, ultra plush, removable and washable comfort liner made of anti-microbial moisture-wicking material for a dry, comfortable feel
  • Full-spectrum adjustable moto inspired visor with anodized aluminum hardware

"Helmet feels very comfortable. I had to get a new helmet after my wash out crash and scraped my helmet pretty bad. I ordered fire red, but came in almost a neon orange. Not sure if this is correct."

Almost perfect

"Unfortunately I have to wear glasses to see the trail. I've been looking for a helmet that doesn't push down on my glasses while riding, I finally found a helmet that works great for those of us that ride with glasses. The helmet is a very good fit and looks great, the only reason for the 4 stars is the tighten knob on the back of the helmet is small and hard to adjust if you have large hands, if the knob would be bigger this helmet would have been a 5 star rating. As always Cambria bike is great on there products and great on their service"

Just the ticket for my recumbent

"On bad arthritis days I now ride a recumbent which with it's low seat angle has the Arizona sun in my face with my helmets. Adjusted down as low as it will go this helmet is a big improvement. The fit adjusted perfectly to my XL head as did the strap dividers and chin strap."
