"Really nice surface and diameter/thickness. What's neat about the taper of the grip (thicker and more ribs on the inner portion), is it gives you more options on where to put your hands on ascents and descents. The thinner and less compliant profile of the grip near the bar ends is nice for control and a precise grasp. Be mindful when ordering these, the grip is quite a bit wider on the tube than your standard grip, so your controls will likely need shifted inwards, towards the stem to get the full fit and availability out of these. They are very excellent, I rarely grab a pair better than these but I know in certain instances, some grips will rule the trail some days while others fall short. These leave nothing on the table as far as comfort, control, and style with ease of install."

Good grips, but one issue when using them for downhill riding.

"The materials are good, and they install easily and lock onto the bar very nicely, but I do have one issue. I find the thicker material on the inner section of the grip creates a pressure point where I experience additional abrasion during downhill riding. I would much prefer if the grips where uniform in diameter throughout the whole grip. I quite like the softer thicker material on the inside and I would like a grip made from that."
