"Bought these hoping they'd be a good road bike glove, given the diagonal padding across the palm, in addition to the palm padding, to tamp down road chatter. I find a lot of today's gloves just don't abdorb well in general, but particularly on long rides, causing numbness and necessitating lots of hand shaking to alleviate discomfort. These gloves do an OK job absorbing some of the vibration of rides, but the padding does tend to compress excessively on rides over 30 miles, creating a bit of diminishing returns from a comfort level. That might be due to the padding being Poron foam that needs more gel for a dual-layer configuration. Fit is decent, but they are a bit sloppy and overly stretchy across the back and somewhat across the palm."
