Description

SRAM X0 2x10 High Clamp Front Derailleur

The low-profile X0 front derailleur was designed specifically for SRAM X-GLIDE™ shifting. Flawless shifting means you’ll never again compromise your speed and power in unpredictable off-road terrain. No more missed shifts, ever. X-GLIDE™ puts you in the right gear, right now.

Top pull derailleurs refer to the cable being pulled from the top. If your cable routing follows the top tube and then drops down to the front derailleur, it’s a top pull.

Bottom pull derailleurs – wait for it – refer to cable being pulled from the bottom. If your cable routing follows the down tube and then takes the cable past the bottom bracket, it’s a bottom pull.

Dual pull is something that came out as a solution to make front derailleur options more universal. Simply, a dual pull derailleur allows the cable to be routed from either the top or bottom.

Q&A

Hi - I have a 2017 Surly Krampus (Red Apple) and wanted to run a 2x10 setup. I need a 34.9mm, high direct-mount front derailleur. Is this the correct one? This is my crankset: SRAM GX-1000 2x10 speed MTB Crankset 175mm GXP trail XC 36/22 double X-Glide Can you help me match up the correct SRAM front derailleur, as I plan to run Maxxis Recon+ 29x2.8 tires. Thank you - Jason
This isn’t a direct mount, it clamps on, but other than that the XO is a great derailleur. I’d recommend using a SRAM shifter with it. I ran it with a Shimano Deore shifter for some time and switched to a GX. Better get a front derailleur while you still can.
