"I bought this to put on my Urban/Hybrid bike that I use when cruising around town. It is a decent quality cassette but since I live in pan flat south Florida, I use the 15t cog about 85% of the time. It worn out in less than 2000 miles. I only ran my chain down to .75 on the Park chain checker so it was not caused by excessive chain wear. However, the nice thing about these cassettes is that the cogs are held together with a small retainer pin that can be removed with a 1.5mm allen key and the cassette can be disassembled. As a result I was able to replace just the 15t cog with a spare from an old Shimano cassette that I had and it works fine again. The 15t cog was from a 10sp cassette but as long as you use the 8speed spacers (for 8 speed derailleur) the shifting is fine. Unlike Shimano, SRAM has done the sensible thing and made their cassettes capable of being fully disassembled so that ALL individual cogs can be replaced individually as needed. I am tired of throwing away entire Shimano cassettes that only need one or two cogs replaced. Such a waste."
