For me, the SRAM chains have been a great choice for all three drivetrains. They roll very smooth, appear to be durable and have given me a good service life. "I have more experience with the 9-speed chains as I have only recently switched to 10-speed. I always had better luck with the 971 than with the 951. I bought the 1051 because it was a sale item. I have not installed it yet since I don’t ride as much since I retired and chains last me quite a bit longer than they used to. We’ll have to see how well it holds up in wintertime salt slush."

"A new chain and a new cassette brought my obsolete 10-speed SRAM Red drivetrain back to life. I'm happy to have found an 11-23 cassette - they've become rare as hen's teeth. Thanks, Cambria!"
