Shimano XTR/XT/SLX/Alfine J-Type Brake Pads

 

Genuine Shimano replacement pads. 

Shimano have adopted ICE-TECHNOLOGIES into their disc brake pad range to provide the cooling technology required for consistent performance.

Fitted with Shimano's Radiator Fin to provide longer pad life and less fade through better cooling.

  • Sintered Pads - Withstand higher pressure and temperature, less fade, better wet performance and longer lasting. (Suited to heavier riders)
  • Organic Pads - Quieter/less squeal, quicker break-in period, less heat build up, limited performance in wet/muddy conditions. (Suited to lighter riders)

Q&A

You show in your ad these Shimano pads J04c as usable for SLX brakes. My owner’s manual says either N04C or D03A. Are these interchangeable. I am looking for resin finned pads. Your thoughts?
So it seems the shimano pads are in short supply. N04c pads are the correct pads for the application. They are semi metallic. The D03a I’m not familiar with. They may not fit in the Slx 4 piston brake caliper do to the cooling fins. There are a lot of A/M pads that don’t have cooling fins. Saint Zee XT 4 piston application is correct pick your pad compound
