Description

Shimano XT/Saint RT86 Ice-Tech 6-Bolt Disc Rotor

SM-RT86 Ice-Tec rotors give excellent performance made from a stainless steel/alloy 3-layer sandwich construction that manages heat while riding.

Features

  • The clad steel/alloy/steel rotor construction allows heat generated from braking to radiate quickly through the aluminium core achieving surface temperature drops of around 50°C. When used with Ice-Tec pads surface temperatures can drop from around 400 to 300°C, this provides great improvements in performance all round
  • Ice-Tec rotors achieve long pad life, less noise and less fade due to improved heat dispersion
  • 6-bolt mounting system
  • Rotor contact surface has been developed for excellent pad clearing and cooling which increases pad performance and life
  • Large forged alloy spider supports rotor surface, increasing rigidity and reducing weight
  • Specifications

  • Disc Rotor Mount: 6 Bolt - PCD 44mm
  • Construction: Aluminum core

    Shimano XT Disc Brakes

"original Shimano XT discs brakes, already mounted and tested. Great performance and excellent service."

    Great and consistent

"These are my preferred rotor from 160mm to 203mm. They have great heat dissipation and stopping power."

    Eric (5/5)

    I have a 1500W Ebike

"I have a 1500W Ebike . These rotors are part of Shimano's Saint DH groupset. They lower brake temperature 100*C. They only cost about $10 more than the solid steel rotor RT76 parts. Getting rid of the heat before it gets to the brake lining or caliper is a very big deal. Lightweight, very high performance and reasonable cost. There are even higher performance Freeza versions at a premium price point -140*C."

"Work well and are my favorites!"

    Shimano XT rotors

"These rotors are a replacement from my original lock on rotors after upgrading my wheelset. These rotors are some of the best in my experience."

    Rickyray S. (5/5)

    If you're tired of noisy

"If you're tired of noisy brakes, this is what you want. Combine it with a new set of metallic pads for outstanding braking performance."

    Todd M. (5/5)

    Shimano Rotors are the best!!!

"Theses Ice-Tech rotors do a great job at dissipating heat build up which leads to fade and reduced braking. Run these exclusively in different sizes on all my bikes - never an issue with warping or alignment and when matched with Shimano pads - even power and good modulation on my various XT hydro calipers. Plus they look great too!"

    David D. (5/5)

    These are my go to

"These are my go to rotors after trying SRAM, Galfer and others. They don't bend or squeal as easily. They also seem to stay cool for longer at speed on the descents. Buying from Cambria has always been a good experience, whether buying new frames or olives and barbs for brake lines."

    Carlos M. (5/5)

    Great rotors

"Love these rotors. Quiet and effective."

    George K. (5/5)
