hello, will an 11spd shimano cassette fit this spline? also, do they come with rim tape? thx. terry: Thanks for your question. The Shimano XT M8120 wheelset uses the MICRO SPLINE freehub, which is designed specifically for Shimano 12‑speed cassettes. Standard 11‑speed Shimano cassettes will not fit this spline. As for setup, the wheels are tubeless ready and require 30mm rim tape for proper sealing. Rim tape is not included with the wheelset, so you’ll want to add that separately before mounting tubeless tires.
