"I just purchased a Shimano Deore 4 piston rear brake for my newest bike. With the reach adjusted, brake properly bled, and rotor and pads burnt in I could not get full stopping power without hitting my knuckle. I purchased this XT lever with hopes of remedying the problem. I’ve been more than impressed with the XT lever. I am now able to apply full braking force without making contact with my knuckles even paired with the same Deore caliper. The added tool less reach adjust and free stroke adjustment are quite nice. The textured on the lever blade is a nice finishing touch."
