"Have been using Shimano brake cable sets for over 30 years of mountain bike riding and they have proven to be exceptional performers. Only needed replacement when the cable frays at the fixing bolt. Otherwise they remain smooth and easy activation. Highly recommended."

"I refurbished a bike. The Shimano brake cables were great. The housing feels more substantial than other cable housing. The bike I was refurbishing though, had the brazed-on cable guides so I could have used more end caps. MTB set only had two."
