A Fantastic Basic Hydraulic Disc Brake
"This basic Shimano disc brake is easy to set up and comes with an olive and barb if you need to shorten the hose. Lever on the MT201 is aluminum, so it won’t rust like the MT200. And once bedded in, the brake pads stop with good modulation and power. And because it’s a Shimano brake, no nasty DOT fluid to mess with, There is no rotor included, but still unbeatable for the price."

"I bought this for replacing my front brake assembly. It works okay. Everything fits and assembly was easy, but doesn’t seem as tight/strong as the oem. I have to squeeze much harder to stop. Luckily it’s the front and not the back otherwise it’d be a 1."

"I only use Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. They are easy to set up, maintain, and bleed. They use mineral oil instead of DOT fluid. The least expensive Shimano hydraulic disc brakes are better than the best mechanical disc brakes, in my humble opinion."

"Great product for the money. I easily replaced the old brakes on my Specialized Camber 29 in less than 30 minutes. These brakes come ready to install. All you need are hex keys and a few zip ties. I could shorten the cables a few inches if I wanted, but they are acceptable as is."
