With a wide contact area, the Shimano PD-ME700 pedals let riders focus on the trail ahead. Designed to work seamlessly with Shimano AM series shoes, the SPD Trail pedals deliver enhanced stability over rough terrain. A wide, dual-sided platform improves pedal-to-shoe stability and power transfer.
The integrated cage increases control when not clipped in and protects the binding mechanism from impacts. Its robust retention claws provide smooth engagement and release as well. For individual customization, entry and release tension are adjustable by the rider.
A chromoly spindle with sealed bearing cartridge axles on each pedal guarantee a long lifetime and low-maintenanc effort.

"Great simple set of clipless pedals. This my first time using this type of pedals and has been a little tight on releasing my shoes but hopefully the will wear in.i would recommend Shimano components all day over the rest and Cambria Bikes has great pricing and shipping."

"I do a lot of hilly gravel rides and these have been pretty great so far, really help me to feel locked in on bumpy descents. The platform also feels big enough to ride with regular shoes for short distances (around the neighborhood or just cruising at low speeds), which is a plus considering I haven't really felt like the weight is an issue. Only thing I have noticed is a little bit of grease oozing from one of the bearing-axle junctures on one pedal, although there hasn't been any changes in the actual feel or performance of the pedal, so maybe just some excess grease from assembly. Would recommend these."
