Dual Control Lever (DCL) |The Shimano DCL levers combine braking and shifting functions in one control unit for easy as well as comfortable operation. J-Kit (Easy Hose Joint System) |For brake systems with brake hose connections, the brake lever has an integrated squeeze seal (olive), which makes the installation and removal of the brake line much easier overall.

Ice Technologies |In order to keep the braking power at longer continuous operation consistently high, Shimano has developed cooling technology for brake discs and brake pads. Brake pads feature cooling fins made of aluminum, which better dissipates heat. In conjunction with the optimized radiation properties of the rotor, this results in a longer durability of the pads, while brake noise and fading are minimized.
