Bigger is Better
"Unfortunately, this model was suggested by Cambria and it ended up costing me the return shipping 😕. Cambria sells a more trail-worthy Shimano hybrid pedal (PD-T8000) with a larger platform that makes more complete contact with the rubber soles of my shoes. My feet are happy with the concave shape of Shimano’s platform side, which I primarily use for practicing wheelies. However, for trail riding, I prefer being connected to the bike and the adjustability of the SPD binding’s tension along with the multi release cleats these will release when needed."

"Not my first set of these pedals, works with normal footwear and SPD. So if just going on a short ride or errand you can jump on the bike without changing your shoes. Cambria shipped the item quickly. Great service."
Quality SPD pedals that give you the option of riding without cleats
"These pedals have SPD fittings on one side and a grippy surface on the other side for those times when you aren't wearing your cycling shoes. The finish is a very attractive matte charcoal that will go with just about any crankset. Top quality at a reasonable price."

"Purchased these for a new scratch gravel bike build in progress. It is difficult to find a good pair of SPD pedals that are one-sided, but these fit the bill. Lighter than the Shimano GRX 2-sided pedals, as well."
Perfect for your first clip-in pedals
"The Shimano EH500 petals would be the perfect starter clip-in petals. They are easy to clip into and easy to clip out of. I also run Crank Brothers petals and love them but, they are not easy to clip-in and out of the Crank Brothers petals. The only negative thing I can say about the Shimano EH500 petals are they are a little heavy, but I will take the weight for the Ease-of-use."
