Can this derailleur be used with the M6000 11-46 cassette that's on sale? if not, which derailleur should I use.
The Shimano Deore M6000 Shadow+ 10 Spd MTB Rear Derailleur has a max rear cog size of 42T. We currently do not have any M6100 series cassettes in stock. The M6100 series is also a 12 speed option and not a 10 speed option. To run an 11-46T rear cassette for 10 speed you would need to Purchase the Deore 5120 SGS ( long cage) rear derailleur
Can this used on a 42 tooth cassette
The M6000 series long cage rear derailleur has a max rear cogs size of 36T and is intended to be used on a 2x or 3x set ups. The medium cage M6000 rear derailleur has a max rear cog size of 42T and is intended for 1x10 set ups.
