Shimano Altus M313 Front Derailleur for Fiji Rebuild
"I rebuilt a Fiji Marlboro bicycle for a friend and ended up replacing a number of components including both derailleurs, bottom bracket, shifters/brake handles, and upgrading the rear derailleur from 5-speed to 7-speed. Too many times, adjustment of the front derailleur has proven challenging when trying to set up a 3-speed crank and find the optimal position for the front derailleur cage and the ideal cable tension. However, on this particular day, I reckon the derailleur gods were with me because this derailleur required minimal adjustment and functioned well in all modes, even when the chain was crossed in both directions (low-to-high and high-to-low). I had it set up in pull-down mode."
