"The Shimano HG400 cassettes are a good alternative to SRAM PG-950 cassettes if you are still running 9-speed drivetrains. Shimano HG400 offers 11-36T and 12-36T options, however, something that SRAM doesn't offer in their 9-speed cassette lines. Some may find that Shimano's 36T low gear is preferable to SRAM's 34T low rear, like I did. Makes big climbs a little easier without having to change out front chainrings."
"clean shifting again. durable looking cassette. Easy to install and refresh an old bike."
"Great cassette for keeping the commuter bike going. 9 speed has always been a workhorse of a group and Shimano has always had the best shifting."
"I had burned through some of the competitors freewheels before landing back on Shimano. Works, as per usual. No complaints. Thinking it will last a good while."
"Great cassette at a great price. Looking fwd to new cassette/chain day!"
"Only thing I wish this had is a 11-42 teeth instead I got the 11-36 and it works just as good I’m looking forward to take this on the mountain"
"Cheap and a solid range. Shifts well using Microshift friction. This is my second cassette and will definitely keep using them. Shimano, don't sop making these!"
"I’ve been using this cassette and it shifts easily and has the range I need."
"Exactly the right part at a good price, sent quickly!"
