Re-Designed, Enhanced and Optimised
The internal shifting mechanism has been re-designed and enhanced to provide a smoother operation and more precise actuation when shifting between gears, even when under load. The lever features a greater reach-adjustment range with very easy access to the inner shift cables when the time comes to maintain/adjust. This new system provides a fast and easy shifting experience, which ensures that race performance is always at 100%, and as a bonus, Shimano has fine-tuned the front lever shifting curve, which makes for much lighter front derailleur shifting compared to previous models.

"My local bike store did not have any shifters available that worked with my bikes configuration. They tried to order the part through their network but it was backordered. They recommended I try to order it myself. The only places I could find it online other than CambriaBike were all out of Taiwan or China. Since Cambria had the part for essentially the same price and delivery was promised within 1 week instead of 3-6 weeks I naturally went with Cambria. The part actually ended up being delivered in 3 days. I live in Southern California, only 200 miles from Cambria, so Im sure they cant get parts delivered everywhere that quickly, but it shows they get the part in the mail extremely quick."

- I need this part to replace a broken Shimano CS6700 10spd left shifter. I need to have the part delivered to NC bySeptember 27 is this possible. Is part compatible with old left shifter
- This is for a 11 sp system. The chain will be slightly narrower than a 10 sp chain. Its possible this shifter won’t work with your front derailleur. Best to buy a left shifter made for 2x10 sp
