With the 105 R7000 Double Chainset, Shimano has found the perfect balance between weight, efficiency and comfort without sacrificing stiffness or power-transfer. It has been optimised to ensure the maximum power-transfer from rider to road is achieved and thanks to modern technologies, they have achieved a wider gear pitch so it is fully compatible with standard road frames and the modern 135mm O.L.D. spaced Disc Brake frames. This crankset design pushes advancements in modern drivetrain performance and provides levels of efficiency and comfort that until now have not been achieved.
