Schwalbe worked closely with the professionals from the Commencal and Muc-Off racing teams to develop their new high-performance tires. Within two years, the Tacky Chan emerged from this collaboration. With a completely new profile design, the Tacky Chan is the ideal companion for All Mountain and Enduro - the perfect combination of stability and adaptability is crucial here. Reinforced shoulder lugs, longer braking edges and L-shaped lugs allow, among other things, higher speed with less weight, greater braking traction and maximum grip, especially in curves. The open shoulder area provides direct feedback and improves self-cleaning. As usual, this MTB tire has features such as TLE, Snakeskin, Super Trail puncture protection and ADDIX Compound Soft.

ADDIX SOFT, orange identifier
Is a compound that bridges many areas. It belongs in the enduro and downhill world and just as much in demanding all-mountain and trail riding. It also shines in combinations – more speed: soft at the front, speed grip at the back. Or more cushioning: Ultra soft at the front, soft at the back. ADDIX Soft is also ideal for E-MTB. That's where it fully demonstrates its strengths "a lot of cushioning and full grip", and because of the optimized cold properties all year round!

NOTE: Tires with a soft rubber compound offer more grip and roll more smoothly. On the other hand, soft tires degrade faster and are more prone to wear!

TLE - Tubeless Easy
A new monofilament side fabric brings three advantages compared to the previous standard:
Even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables an extremely easy tubeless conversion. Sealing fluid is required, but installation is otherwise just as easy as with real tubeless tires. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent pumping are no longer a problem with Tubeless Easy.
