The Schwalbe Hans Dampf Evolution in the Super Trail variety is part of the newest stage of development for Schwalbe’s Evolution Line mountain bike tyres.

The tyre has for years been a successful model in the Schwalbe universe and loved by all bikers who think the Magic Mary is too extreme and Nobby Nic too tame. Just like its beloved predecessor, the redesigned Hans Dampf is also a versatile all-rounder.
It is especially well-suited for Trail and All-Mountain tracks, but can also handle demanding Enduro routes. The tyre is equipped with the “Super Trail” casing, which was specially equipped for those intended uses, and comes with a three-layer carcass. An Apex insert at the sides and a chafer placed directly against the bead combine to offer additional protection from punctures and grinding at the rim. The proven SnakeSkin insert, providing excellent cut protection, isn’t just built into the side walls, but also along the entire surface.
In addition, Schwalbe has introduced a foldable bead core and improved tubeless mounting.

The well thought-out arrangement of the knobs guarantees pleasant riding at the upper limits and offers perfect feedback from the ground. In addition, the blocks are arranged to be open for optimal self-cleaning properties despite low rolling resistance. Elliptically arranged transition blocks offer a reliable feel in any situation and long double blocks in the centre ensure maximum braking power.
