Schwalbe G-One RS Evolution 700c Folding Cyclocross Tire

The G-One RS is the new gravel race tire from Schwalbe and combines road speed with cyclocross grip. Compared to the Schwalbe G-One R, the new G-One RS has a semi-slick surface that reduces rolling resistance by 20 percent and thus meets the demand for more speed.

The center section of the tread has a special scale structure that gives the driver more braking traction or steering grip depending on the direction of travel - and at the same time makes the tire super fast. In order to maximize the tire's performance, the G-One RS has different running directions for use on the front and rear wheels. In addition, the slightly angled side blocks should offer maximum grip in the curve or brake line, depending on the running direction.

Two carcass plies under the tread allow the tire to roll smoothly and comfortably, while three carcass plies protect against cuts on the sides. In addition, the light V-Guard puncture protection increases cut and puncture resistance. Equipped with the latest Tubeless-Easy technology, the G-One RS can be installed without any problems.

Super-Race carcass - Souplesse construction
In no other discipline is there such an extreme focus on rolling resistance and weight as in the Cross Country, Gravel or Cyclo Cross disciplines. The Super Race construction also sets standards in terms of suppleness - no other carcass glides so silkily over the ground and thus ensures plenty of traction. The turn-up construction is characterized by a light material mix - with two carcass layers plus RaceGuard puncture protection under the tread and three carcass layers on the sidewall to protect against cuts and snakebites.

ADDIX Race Compound
Completely new recipe. ADDIX Race is a multi-compound made from the latest and highest quality polymers in tested quality. Since the filling levels for silica were significantly increased, the mixing process also had to be refined. Different special mixtures are used in the center and on the sides. This increases grip in corners without having a negative impact on rolling resistance or durability.

TLE - Tubeless Easy
A new monofilament side fabric offers three advantages compared to the previous standard: Even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables extremely easy tubeless conversion. Sealing fluid is required, but installation is otherwise just as easy as with real tubeless tires. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent pumping are no longer a problem with Tubeless Easy.

V-GUARD puncture protection insert
The insert is made from a specially developed high-tech polymer fiber that is also used for bulletproof and stab-proof vests. It offers excellent protection against cuts and stabs and is extremely light. Neither the rolling resistance nor the suppleness of the tire are affected by V-Guard. The 14 mm wide insert protects the entire tread and thus ensures extremely high puncture protection. The 3-layer side wall also reliably protects against cuts.
