These are steel chainring bolts
"These are steel chainring bolts with steel nuts. The bolts are threaded almost all the way to the bolt heads. I’ve never broken one, which is more than I can say for some aluminum chainring bolts I’ve used. These are longer than regular chainring bolts, intended to use when installing a thick plastic (poly) bashguard. They work fine when installing an aluminum bashring as well. I’ve also used them with and without bashrings when installing 30 tooth 104 BCD chainrings where the threaded holes are part of the chainring. These bolts will engage all of the threads in the chainring, whereas regular chainring bolts often aren’t long enough. They’re also useful when you’re adjusting chainline using chainring spacers. You MAY be able to move the chainring a millimeter or two without needing longer bolts, but if you end up moving it 3mm or 4mm as I occasionally have - you’re going to need longer bolts. These work great for that."
