What size cable will it need and is it a cable or hydraulic?
Cable activated. Mine is a shifter cable. Length depends on bike frame size and stem length. Mine works great. Installed it on a 2006 Santa Cruz Chameleon.
Do I need to get a lever with it?
Yes, these do not come with one.
What is the height of the collar? In other words, if the post is inserted as far down in the seat tube as possible, how high will the seat be from the top of the seat tube when the retractable part of the post is fully extended (i.e., 150 CM travel + how much for the collar)? Thanks!
