PNW Range XL MTB Grips 

PNW Components expands its Range lineup with new grips in two sizes and six colors, complementing the popular Loam grips.

Softly tuned, not watered down
PNW uses a proprietary thermoplastic rubber compound with 25A durometer for the Range. It is deliberately tuned soft, yields pleasantly under your hand and takes some of the harshness out of rough sections. At the same time, PNW has designed the compound for durability. For plenty of cushy feel without turning the grip into a short-lived comfort feature.

Compliant on top, grippy underneath
Fine micro-fins on the top allow your hand to sink slightly into the structure, creating a pleasantly yielding contact surface. On the underside, however, PNW relies on a pronounced waffle pattern that your fingertips can practically lock into. This allows the Range to combine soft comfort with extra grip exactly where you need it when braking and pulling on the handlebar.

Two sizes, two personalities
Regular stays nicely slim with a 30 mm diameter. Close proximity to the handlebar and little material in between make it just right for anyone who likes a direct feel. At 35 mm, XL offers noticeably more volume. More support surface and a generous dose of comfort make it the right choice for larger hands or anyone who generally likes a little more to hold onto.

The Range grips feature “micro-fins” on the top, which allow your hands to sink in and absorb impacts and trail chatter. On the underside of the grip isa waffle pattern to provide extra fingertip grip and control.

The Range grip in two sizes — a 30mm-diameter “Regular” and a significantly larger 35mm-diameter “XL.” Both sizes also feature a 1mm taper. Regular Range grips weigh 90g, while the XL options bump up to 134g. The grips also come in six color options: Blackout Black, Peanut Butter, Hyper Lichen, Safety Orange, Fruit Snacks, and Cement Grey.

PNW are always looking to harness environmentally friendly gains where they can. The packaging was some of the first in the industry to cut out single use plastic and they have been testing recycled solutions with the previous Loam Grips, releasing small batches of Recycled Editions while making sure this solution is ready for a larger production batch.

The Range Grips benefit from this recycled core which is made up of 80% repurposed maritime plastic. These are just small steps, but shows PNW isdedicated to improving when it can.
