PNW Coast Gravel Handlebar

The PNW Coast gravel drop bar is designed for those moments when being aero isn't everything but being comfortable is. Mixed with the 20-degree flare means more comfortable riding positions for rider's wrists and ease when moving from grips to hoods and back again.

  • 20 Degree Flare
  • Available in 48cm & 52cm widths

The deal was too good not to try it out...

"I run 44cm bars on my road bike. This is the "proper" fit per industry standards and my bike fitter. On my gravel bikes I run both 46 & 48cm bars. I have a Salsa Fargo that had 46 cowchipper bars and I was happy with them, but I needed new tape. So if you are going to retape bars, this is the time to experiment. I picked up these bars and some new tape and waited for delivery. Once the bars arrived, I set them on the my 46 bars and chuckled over the difference. I was a little reluctant also due to possibly needing to replace cables and housing. I have a frame bag on this frame, so bars can only turn 90 degrees. Luckily once i did the dry fit, the housing/cables were just long enough. Without a framebag stopping the bars, this may have been an extra expense I didn't want for an experiment. Once installed and fitted - the bars look great. I have a ton of space now on the top bar for my hands when I am droning along flat sections of trail. The drops are relatively shallow, so the width change doesn't require an immediate stem swap, however I may change the rise in the future. Overall, I am happy I have given the 52cm bar a shot even tho I was reluctant. Thanks for the sale (and worn out bar tape) to push me over the edge."
