"I’m a woman of a “certain age” that rides an Electra Townie Ebike, not that fast but a great exercise bike which is just what I need. These new bike shoes solved the problem I had with slipping off the pedals. I immediately felt a difference in pedal power. I now can stomp on the pedals with a very good increase in speed and stability. My only criticism is that they are a very snug fit. I usually wear a ladies 10 medium but I purchased the 10.5 and could have easily worn another size up and also gone up in the width. I have about a hundred miles on them and they are not stretching out yet but perhaps they will give more in years to come. Look very durable and of good quality. 95% satisfied."

- I just received these from you. I tried them out on a ride. I don't quite understand the sole. They slip off my pedals. I then did some research and this seems to be a complaint. I really just want to know what kind of pedals these could possibly be for? The whole sole needs to be like the toe and heel part. I would like to understand, even if Pearl Izumi can explain. I want to like this shoe!
- These shoes are meant to be used with a flat pedal. Depending on your pedal brand and pedal pin style these may or may not offer the grip you are looking for. Most cycling shoes come with a tougher rubber to withstand the sharp pointy pins on some flat pedals. If your flat pedals have dull or rounded pins you may not get good grip.
