PI has been a go
"PI has been a go to for bib shorts more than 20 years. The quality is impeccable and the sizing consistent across the product line unlike some of the so called elite cycling clothiers. The expedition short is no exception and the pockets less distracting than I imagined they would be though I don't see myself carrying a phone or keys in them. ID and a credit card yes. I continue to prefer a longer cut that settles 3-4 inches above the knee and these bibs are right there. Love the shammy and don't care that many don't, it does the job particularly on rides 2+ hours. I highly recommend."
I’m a die-hard Pearl Izumi
"I’m a die-hard Pearl Izumi bib fan. They’re comfortable on even the longest rides and are super durable. This pair ended up slightly different that my current ones. The fabric is glossier (silkier?) and maybe slightly less compressive. The shoulder straps seem a bit less robust. Nevertheless they are super comfy and I expect them to perform as well as my old ones."
