    Park cable housing cutter

    "I always struggled trying to get nice clean cuts on cable housing — but never could with regular wire cutters. It would always crush the inside. I finally got these when I had to cut my 12-speed shifter cable housing. I couldn’t afford to have any extra friction because the derailleur wouldn’t drop properly. I got a nice clean cut with these. I had to reshape the housing only slightly. Should have gotten these a long time ago — would’ve made jobs much simpler."

    Great tool, but hard for small hands.

    "The tool is everything it's supposed to be. It cuts well, leaves nice clean ends without wire burrs, and doesn't crack or strip the housing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because as a woman, I have smaller hands and find this tool's size makes it difficult to use because of that. I frequently have to let go of the cable and use two hands to squeeze the tool closed, and that sometimes causes the cut to be angled instead of straight across, and then I have to spend a lot of time cleaning up the cut. All in all, it's a great tool. But if you have small hands, you might find it difficult to use and get straight cuts."

    Works Great!

    "This tool cuts 1.6mm stranded steel cable and cable sheaths (steel spiral internal as well as all plastic), like a dream. You can use it to crimp the end caps on the stranded cables so they don't fray. It wasn't cheap, but it really works well, per usual with Park Tool tools."
