Not Happy
"I purchased the 9/16”� tap set and a 9/16”� brass, right-hand threaded insert. I used the tap to rethread my right hand crank arm. The new threads look clean, but the 9/16”� insert will not fit in the rethreaded crank arm. The brass insert does accept my right hand pedal, but does not screw into my crank arm. Do the 9/16”� taps not work with a 9/16”� inserts? The 9/16" brass insert looks to have an outside diameter closer to 5/8" which would explain why the brass insert will not work, I don't understand how you could sell a tap that does not work with an insert with the same advertised dimension.
