Their RIP 9 RDO series prides itself on a meticulously designed carbon fiber frame. In the process of designing this frame, Niner has revolutionized the way a long-travel, large-wheeled bike performs. The CVA rear suspension is remarkably versatile, counteracting squat and bob to absorb shock without stealing from your pedal stroke. With short chainstays and a low bottom bracket, this bike is remarkably fun.
The RIP 9 RDO is designed with modern geometry built with roomy cockpits, and a slack and low demeanor. This long-legged machine not only uses big tires to eat up the trail, with 150mm of rear travel, this frame is ready for some seriously rowdy fun. Meanwhile, the CVA Suspension keeps pedal performance and efficiency light and tight. To further enhance the ride qualities of the CVA suspension, Niner has outfitted it with a Push Industries Elevensix coil shock. The Elevensix features more adjustment than you can shake a stick at, and the smooth progressive feel that can only be achieved through a coil spring. This ready to rip Niner build pairs the RIP with SRAM's groundbreaking XO1 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. The XO1 Eagle trigger shifter throws down precise shifts along the SRAM X01 Eagle 10-50t cassette giving you a generous gear range for charging the downhills, spinning the climbs and everything inbetween. SRAM's Descendant crankset boasts strength and stiffness that efficiently transfers your efforts into forward momentum. When it comes time to slow things down, SRAM Guide RSC disc brakes will do it with confidence and control. The Fox 36 Float Factory Fork provides 160mm of plush travel, and adjustable high and low speed compression. All your riding buddies will definitely be envious of the carbon Enve wheelset wrapped with Maxxis Minion rubber. Niner rounds out this stellar build with a Race Face cockpit and KS Lev dropper seat post.
