Pricey, but reliable

"Sometimes you want to have a tube in your seat bag (or on your rim) that you know you can trust. I trust these and have had consistent quality."

Michelin AirStop 700c Road Tube

"The tube has a very good valve (does not unscrew) when removing a CO2 cartridge."

Great tube

"It holds air and doesn’t leak… yet…"

The best

"I've always had good luck with Michelin tubes, unlike Continental where I've had batches of bad tubes and valve stems that unscrew when I rewove my pump. I also like that the Michelin valve stems are not fully threaded so they don't wear out the pump chuck as fast if it uses a rubber seal."

Mark A. (5/5)

Not all tubes are created equal

"Perhaps not the cheapest tube, but the Michelin Airstops are my fav tube. First off, I love the threadless valve stems. Im not sure why more companies dont offer threadless stems. (Some Kenda tubes are threadless, too). Second, the valve quality is solid. I recently bought brand S tubes and the valves were sloppy, and I could tell when pumping up tubes. The valves didnt seem to close completely and I could tell as the floor pump was at the bottom of the stroke and the plunger did not bottom-out solidly. Third, the Michelin tubes dont seem to leak air as fast as other tubes. This is relatively minor, as I air up before each ride, but perhaps reflects the overall quality of the tube."

Q&A

Will a Michelin Dynamic Classic road tire (#GMO20921-07) and Michelin Air Stop Road Tube (#GM0090720 -36) fit my 1972 Peugeot Mixte bike with 27 X 1 1/4 original rims ?
The tire and wheel in questions are 700c tires/tubes and would not work for a 27 1/4 wheel.
