"I built these up with Novatec D791/2 hubs and DT Competition spokes. They tightened up round and true easily. I mounted tubeless 2.25 Goodyear Peak tires and blasted down a long, gnarly rock garden on a Trek Fuel that usually runs 2.4 tires, testing the wheels and the Goodyears to see if something would pop. Nothing did. So, these are really solid wheels, and the tires are better than expected. Welded rims rock. In all, an this is an economical setup of good quality."
