"Great Rim for XC Trails"

Luis R. (5/5)

Great Rim

"These rims are better than the DT Swiss G540 gravel rim at the same price, and they're a quarter-pound lighter each. I've built three wheelsets on these or the Mavic XM 824s, and they are very robust. The G540s are 24 mm internal width, while these are only 21 mm."

Arthur S. (5/5)

Nice rim

"Good rim, built up nice and true."

jeff d. (5/5)

Value Rim

"Available in both 27.5 and 29 sizes, this Mavic rim is a true value. At about the same weight as the DT Swiss XM421 rim (about 445 grams), they are 4 mm narrower (21 vs. 25 internal width). Both are welded, not pinned. I have built and ridden wheels with both rims and find them broadly equivalent. They are solid trail rims that will take a beating. You may also find the Mavic XM 824 rim, which is more closely equivalent to the DT Swiss rim at about 20 grams heavier. On sale, the Mavics run about $60, while the DT Swiss are at least twice that."

Stellar Customer Service

"There was a problem with my original shipment which was corrected within a week. This is the kind of service one expects and will bring me back to CambriaBike again,"
