"The helmet is pretty comfy and seems well built. The price was a steal. My only gripe is the color scheme was clearly different than the picture. Mine is all black with a smidge of pink, and I worry it will get hot in the summer. It’s also not as visible as the pictured white. So definitely some disappointment there."

"This is my second LEM helmet, after purchasing and using the LEM Gavia for last season. The LEM helmet is an excellent fit for those of us with an extra small head. The shell is compact and low profile and doesn't feel or look like the dreaded mushroom. I appreciate that you can stow glasses in the front vents (also true for the Gavia). The straps line up nicely and hold adjustment well. The two downsides of this particular Volata are no bug net incorporated into the padding like some other LEM offerings, and I prefer a full white colorway rather than the gray on the sides. Personal opinion on the colors, and does not affect the fit and function of this excellent aero helmet."
