The Leatt 8.0 Composite Downhill Helmet is an absolute showpiece when it comes to safety! Featuring 360° Turbine Technology, various Impact Foams, ProFit Inner Liner and 3D padding, the 8.0 protects your head from even the most severe impacts. Despite the extreme safety features, the helmet offers a fantastic ventilation and weighs only 1120g.

As the first MTB downhill helmet worldwide, the DBX 8.0 Composite has the ECE 22.05 motorcycle certification in addition to the MTB downhill certifications and is therefore one of the safest helmets on the market. Probably the best helmet I’ve

"Probably the best helmet I’ve owned. Very comfortable, looks good, feels incredibly sturdy, has many safety features (the pull neck pads are very solid but don’t pull them out more than once to see how they work), and it fits right at the edge of my peripherals so only at extreme head turns does it block my vision. Cons -could- be considered that the buckle for the chin strap likes to catch the exterior of the two and pull it up into the helmet, leaving you fumbling for a few moments. It’s very breathable in the front so in cold weather at speed you need a face covering unless you want your lips to crack. Also when I didn’t realize the top is blue and this is an america helmet. Good colors either way."

Great Helmet for Downhill

"I have two of these helmets in different colors. Great for downhill. A little heavier than the some of the basic downhill helmets but this helmet has a ton more protection. I don't really notice the weight, but it is at least worth noting if you are really weight sensitive."
