"Great Shoe - Extremely well built. My only complaint - They are on the warm side - do not breathe well - aka Hot Feet . I'm hoarding a few of last years pairs for cooler days, night rides and FALL. The fit for me is dead on to size - I have wide feet and the padding in these conforms to allow for that."
"These are nice shoes for the trail. They're comfortable and fit true to size. I like the unique ankle protection on the crank side of the shoe. The cleats are recessed enough so that the shoes are easy to walk on when off the bike. The combination of laces and Velcro straps make it easy to adjust snugness."
"100% Excellent 👍"
"The shoes is perfect for MTB rides."
"Great shoes and a great price, however they do lose a point because they are not exactly compatible with the new Leatt pedals due to their deep cleat and tread. The pins on the pedals stop the cleats from easily clipping in. They do work wonderfully with the smaller pedals without pins, but for gravity shoes and pedals from the same brand it’s really a bummer. If you have pins you’ll likely have to remove some for an easier fit. They do fit well and true to size and the straps are awesome"
"They feel feel really good, fit ok"
"The plastic guide loop that hold the tensioning strap in place broke in less than a week and now the shoes cannot be properly tightened"
"I have tried many brands of MTB shoes and the Leatt 4.0 and 5.0 are by far the best fitting and most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I ride twenty plus miles with zero comfort issues. I now own four pair"
"I like this shoe, mostly because it doesn’t have a fragile boa. The shoe is kinda bulky like an early 2000’s skate shoe, but that offers more protection along with raised the inner ankle cuff. Another review mentioned that the shoe is warm, and I was concerned about that but this year has been the hottest year in recorded history- temps above 100 in Utah and I don’t notice the shoe in the heat, it seems to breathe as well as any other shoe I’ve had."
