"I like these because they also protect shins and move easily. I ordered size XL and had to make some adjustments by adding velcro on the 3 straps. The top and bottom straps were too big and the strap around the calf was too small. My calf is circumference is 18 inches so if you have larger calves you may have to make your own fittings like I did. These offer great protection for the occasional spill."
