Great bike from a great retailer.
"What an awesome bike! I'm new to Singlespeed MTBs and new to rigid fork MTBs. Jumping on the Unit as my first experience is cheating! First thing I did was tape up the wheels, install the included tubeless valvestems, and sealed up the tires with Orange Seal. I feel like it's the best choice for the Sonoran Desert's dry hot climate. I hit the Trails around Papago Park/Phoenix zoo. For my 150 pound 5'5" behind, a little trial and error taught me about 18 psi rear and 20 psi front was perfect for climbing our loose over hard Terrain. The WTB 29er 2. 6 tires ate up the terrain. The only thing that failed me, really I failed the Unit, was my legs. The 32x18 gearing is two high for my legs. I may just power through it until I can do better or try a different rear cog. Maybe a 20t or as much as a 22t. I love my Kona Unit. Cambria bikes gotten to me incredibly fast. I used the 10% off Christmas code and ended up paying retail after tax. Free shipping also helped. I love to support local bike shops, but for personal reasons I am loyal to the Kona Brand. All of my nearby shops that carryed Kona stopped in the last few years. Hopefully, they begin selling them again. If not it's ok. In May, my daughter is getting a Kona for her birthday and I know exactly where to find it. Right here on the Cambria Bikes website."
