Good basic tires

"Nothing fancy here, but a great price point. I bought a pair of Slime self-sealing tubes as well to make up for the lack of Kevlar."

great all-around tire

"Bought this for a bike that will be used mostly on paved paths, but some near the beach, so having traction when the path has sand is important. This tire rides smooth on pavement with a somewhat wide footprint. But also has the tread which provides traction on sandy paths. Perfect!"

Keeping the Yuba Mundo Classic Cargo Bike Happy

"The Yuba Mundo Bike came with these tires when originally purchased on-line. I love the comfortable ride these large tires deliver. It means less vibrations from bumps, small holes etc. The tread is suitable for paved roads, and I find them able to keep me moving through sandy areas of the New England roads (we have sand and salt dumped on the roads in winter snow itll collect in “sand traps” that the road workers often dont clear all year). I havent tried to ride them in snowProbably would need a different tire for that. I decided to stick with these tires by buying replacements as they perform just fine for the price. The tires also perform well when the bike is at full load 440 pounds. As with any tires they will wear-out. The reason I dinged it one-star? They arent puncture-resistant. However to get that feature be prepared to pay more, and even then they arent 100% puncture proof, just puncture resistant."
