When quality and precision are top priority, I9 is the brand. The A35 stem is machined, anodized and assembled entirely in Asheville, NC. Industry Nine controls every stem of the process - from raw material to machining to anodizing to assembly. The 'A' in the A35 name comes from the A-axis of the five-axis machining used to manufacture the stem body and faceplate. The '35' comes from the oversized handlebar clamp diameter.
