"I have a Giro Atmos helmet that fits me well and I prefer the fit. The original plastic locking mechanism became brittle after several years and broke. Rather than ditch the helmet, I purchased this replacement piece which does the job. Make sure you take a picture or refer to online picture for weaving the nylon chin strap through the locking mechanism as it took me a few tries."
