I use these for whitewater

"I use these for whitewater kayaking. They are comfortable and don't restrict my movements. They seem solid and offer good protection. Mostly they stay in place and I don't mind an occasional tug to keep them up and over my elbows (maybe 1-2X in 3-4 hours). I would need to order a larger size and I think it would take some effort to pull them over the material, which does not appeal to me. I'm really glad to have them though for warmer weather paddling as I don't notice them after a few minutes."

Decent, could be improved. Runs small

"Runs small. im 6 foot and maybe 140 lbs and the medium is too tight. Yes theyll stretch.. but it is flat too tight to deal with. I like the padding.. like the plastic cap for asphalt crashes.. but sizing needs work."

Much more thorough protection than

"Much more thorough protection than what I was using. Straps keep them nice and secure. Hard pads protect the elbow and just below the elbow but there is some thicker foam that covers a lot more of the arm than I expected. Trading off some breathability but it's worth it. 4 stars because I haven't crashed yet."
