Definitely a unique fit. I
"Definitely a unique fit. I had to manipulate the shoe with a $100 shoe stretching device and a heat gun more or less around the area an inch or so below the base of the pinky toe..like mid-foot on the outer edge. Never in my life have I had to do this to a shoe to get a non-painful fit. Apparently, I'm not the only person who's noticed this "hotspot" (read the Radavist article). Idk what's up with the last/footbed shape but I will say that I have zero other complaints...even as a person who notices details and easily finds fault (picky mechanical engineering). It's legitimately a functional bike-hike shoe and that's pretty impressive on its own. Mixed bag here though. Good points and bad. Regardless, I'd probably buy another pair if these wore-out because there is not a competitor in the shoe category of bike-hike, half stiff sole - half addidas trail runner."
